TotalledJust great!!! Guess what? Brand new car = totalled. I went with my mom for a parent/teachers meeting to my brother's school. When we left the premises, our new driver (hired on that day) totalled the car by crashing it into a pylon head on at 100 kmph. I was just about strapping in my seat belt when this happened too but I hadnt clipped it on before the crash. This threw me forward and my head cracked the wind shield (strong headed? lol).
My mom was hurt on the arm and was in a state of shock. Me on the other hand, I fractured my left thumb, have got a stiff neck 'coz I hit my head against the wind shield and the shock from it went down my spine (thank God nothing serious), got a swollen knee 'coz I hit it against the dashboard, and some swelling and small opening of the skin on the top of my head from hitting the wind shield. Boy, it was chaos yesterday. Spent about 3 hours at the hospital and was discharged. But our brand new car totally gone... totally
The front was just nothing. Hopefully we'll get a complete replacement from the insurance scheme we have on the car
. It was the first day we hired a driver (I dont know to drive..... yet) and the first day we took the car out.... the first day!!!
The driver didnt have a care in the world... he said "so what?".... can you believe the guy?
If the car had slightly aimed away from the pylon, we would've ended up in the river about 50 ft down and that could have had some serious problems in terms of injury... or probably loss of life 'coz my mom wouldnt have been able to take that kind of an impact.
But all in all, I gotta thank God for there was no one critically hurt. Imagine if someone had been close to that pylon we smashed in to.... instant roadkill, i tell ya

2 Contests, A Workaholic and An Online Space (17 Jan 2007)
A long inactive update from me. My life's been hectic the past few weeks with work at the office. It all happened when I fell ill last month and ended up pretty much not going to work the whole of that month.... and work has piled up 'coz of it. Am practically a hardcore workaholic right now, having no time whatsoever for myself. Am hardly on dA due to this but am hoping it'll all change soon when I complete my given tasks.
To all those people I promised a journal css design; please be patient, I will get them to you in due time, and am sorry for the delay. My mind's warped from all the work plus am not feeling creative right now (artist's block?).
