Huge relief now that the new "journal skins" feature is introduced. It's under beta for now but should be released to premium subscribers soon. You can check out the article relating to this feature here
I've tested it out and it works If you come across any bugs, please do let me know.
PLEASE NOTE THAT CSS JOURNALS / JOURNAL SKINS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE TO PREMIUM / SUBSCRIBED MEMBERS. In other words; you have to have a subscription to use this feature
HOW TO USE ---------------------------------------------------------------- Click on the "install to journal" button to add it to your journal skins collection. When editing/updating your journal, click on the button at the bottom of your journal update page which should say "choose skin" or "unsaved skin", select this skin from the list and click 'ok'. That's it, basically
Note1: If your journal's mood system does not automatically switch to "show as bottom", please make sure to set it in order for this skin to work properly.
Note2: The links in the menu will auto-change to your username upon install, so you don't need to edit anything there.
Some custom divs you can use in this journal skin <div class="XXX">YOUR TEXT</div> Replace XXX with these values - for different colour variations; blacktext, whitetext or yellowtext - for different font sizes; size13, size15, size18, size21 or size36
<div class="YYY">YOUR CONTENT</div> Replace YYY with topicbox or topicbox2 to segregate a topic of importance like the features section as shown in this deviation. The content will be placed inside a box.
<div class="lineline"></div> Will create a horizontal white line
<div class="imgimg">IMAGES AND THUMBNAILS</div> Will create white borders around your images
Please note that I have no issues with you editing this skin to your own liking (ie. colours, addons, etc). I just ask that you leave a comment below saying so. That shouldn't be difficult now, would it?
very nice, clean design! for some reason my current journal skin blew up and i needed a backup until the problem is fixed. thanks so much for making this one free for use.
Hey, great skin! But I was wondering if it would be alright for me to remove the "My Prints" section in the header. I'm a writer, so it would be just a little out of place
Thanks!
